Surory (“Surory”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by TechYard, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use surory.com (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account information: your mobile number and the display name you choose. We do not ask for an email address, and Surory has no password — you sign in with a one-time code sent to you on WhatsApp.
Sign-in codes: a one-time code is held for a few minutes so that it can be checked, along with a record that a code was requested.
Registry content: the occasions and gift lists you create, including the item names, product links, prices and photos you add.
Reservation information: when a guest reserves a gift we record which gift it was, when, and the name and mobile number the guest enters. Guests reserve without creating an account.
Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, and similar analytics.

2. How we use your information

To create and operate your account and your lists.
To send your one-time sign-in code over WhatsApp.
To let guests view a shared list and reserve gifts on it.
To improve, secure and support the Service.
To measure referrals to partner stores through affiliate links.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with: service providers who help us operate the Service — our hosting provider, and Meta Platforms, which delivers the WhatsApp message carrying your sign-in code; affiliate networks and partner stores, through tracking links, when you click through to them; and the competent authorities where required by law.

4. Cookies and affiliate tracking

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and we store your language choice in your browser. When you click a product link, a partner network may set an affiliate cookie so that a resulting purchase can be attributed to us. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it unless the law requires otherwise. One-time sign-in codes are short-lived and are cleared automatically.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you may request to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us at support@techyard.com.

This applies to guests too. If you reserved a gift without creating an account and would like that record removed, contact us with the list link and the mobile number you used.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
